The Qb4 association <\/b>organises and promotes chess in Belgium<\/b> through tournaments<\/b>, chess lessons<\/b>, courses<\/b> and activities<\/b> that are inclusive<\/b> and accessible to everyone.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In collaboration with clubs, organisations and partners in the chess world, Qb4 works to promote the game of chess and<\/b> raise its profile in Belgium<\/b>. One of its main objectives is to raise the profile of chess among under-represented groups and to increase the participation of women.<\/p>\n

Our chess tournaments in Belgium<\/h2>\n

Qb4 organises chess tournaments in Belgium<\/b> open to players of all levels<\/b>, from beginners to experienced competitors. Each tournament follows a structured format, including pairings, rankings, scoring systems and reference to the ELO<\/b> rating system where applicable.<\/p>\n

Our competitions may take the form of championships<\/b>, tournaments<\/b>, open<\/b> events or specific events<\/b> designed to help players improve. They provide an opportunity to compete against opponents under official conditions, in accordance with rules recognised internationally, notably by FIDE (the International Chess Federation), with prizes to be won<\/b>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Qb4 is also the main organiser of the Luc Winant Tournament, an event held in memory of the Belgian chess grandmaster Luc Winant.<\/p>\n

The sustainable development of chess in Belgium<\/b> depends on structured teaching. Qb4 offers chess lessons<\/b> and chess courses<\/b> for children, teenagers and adults, whether they are beginners, intermediate players or experienced players.
Our activities can also be organised in various settings such as schools<\/b>, hospitals<\/b>, care homes<\/b>, prisons<\/b> or even within companies as part of team-building<\/b> activities.<\/p>\n

Would you like to learn to play? Our lessons are available as face-to-face<\/b> or online<\/b> courses<\/b> organised by level (beginner, intermediate, advanced) to enable everyone to learn in a progressive and structured way.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Chess camps<\/b>, organised over a weekend or a week, in Belgium or abroad, offer a more intensive immersion and encourage rapid progress in a professional, supportive and friendly environment. They also provide an excellent opportunity to strengthen bonds between participants and expand their networks, both within the chess community and socially.<\/p>\n

An inclusive approach to chess in Belgium<\/h2>\n

Qb4 is committed to making chess in Belgium accessible to everyone<\/b>.
